Realmente le debemos la aparición de esta nueva marca de palomitas de maíz (sin maíz) a Jessica Brondo Davidoff una emprendedora en serie con amplia experiencia en el mundo de los negocios y cuyo hijo, con una alergia al maíz le impedía disfrutar de unas palomitas de maíz al uso. Tras mucho investigar dio con el sorgo un cereal muy antiguo y originario de África con unas propiedades muy similares a las del maíz pero sin los componentes alérgenos de éste. Además el sorgo proporciona otros nutrientes que lo hacen realmente interesante como son, nada de gluten, un perfil completo de antioxidantes y minerales y lo que es más interesante, fibra prebiótica.
Luego se sumaron al proyecto el tenista y otros inversores estratégicos, pero eso ya es otra historia.
